Often we hear that we should never stop learning or improving in our craft. I watch hours or material each week, either inspirational or instructional. In the arena of film production, I would venture to say it is impossible to become an expert in all aspects from pre-production to post-production, but we should be well versed in all aspects. One area though that I want to improve in is storyboarding. I am NOT an artist when it comes to drawing or sketching, but I know that with practice, improvement can be made. So that is why I signed up for a drawing class on Udemy. My goal, make better storyboards.
Our first assignment was to draw an eye as guided by the instructor. Mine wasn’t so bad and I’m even posting it here. Sort of as an accountability to finish the course. So here it is for better or worse.
